  • GRID will add LoL and R6 Siege to Abios’s data feeds to power the Kambi Group’s partner network
  • Abios’ managing director promises a better user experience overall thanks to the partnership
  • The deal marks both companies stepping further into the field of esports betting

Abios and GRID will build on their existing partnership to provide a better experience thanks to improved odds models and lower latency.

Abios and GRID Announce Deal

Game data platform GRID has expanded its esports data partnership with Abios, the esports division of Swedish sports betting technology and services provider Kambi Group. As a result of the deal, GRID will add League of Legends and Rainbow Six Siege official esports data feeds to power the Kambi Group’s partner network.

This means that the two esports titles will join Counter-Strike 2, Dota2, and VALORANT feeds established from the original partnership between GRID and Abios which was signed in July of last year. This integration will allow an expansion of the offerings of proprietary odds products. As a result, users will benefit from uptime improvements and odds model automation, which are especially important for live markets.

“We’re excited to continue and expand our partnership with GRID. With a unique portfolio of data rights, Abios power partners within and outside of the Kambi network with high-performance esports content,” said Anton Janér, Abios’ Managing Director and Founder about the deal. With access to GRID’s real-time data, Abios’ automated odds models enable consistent margins, lower latency, and a better user experience,” he further explained.

Both Entities Delve Further Into Esports

The partnership between the two organizations marks yet another example of how the iGaming and esports betting industries can leverage advanced technological solutions to improve digital products. Abios already has a well-established footprint in esports. Last month, for example, Abios secured a data partnership with Team Vitality. The collaboration will cover the prominent esports organization’s LoL, CS2, VALORANT, and other teams.

GRID does not lag behind when it comes to working within the esports world. For example, in May of last year, the company partnered with Inspired Entertainment to launch a betting-focused Counter-Strike product. This year has also been rather successful for GRID as it has partnered with KeSPA and game developer Ubisoft to launch a data portal for Rainbow Six Siege esports.

“We’re proud to offer League of Legends and Rainbow Six Siege official data feeds to Kambi’s network for the first time and add even more value to the experience of their already impressive esports betting products,” said about the deal Mikael Westerling, Chief Sales Officer at GRID. “The continued success of our partnership with Abios and our shared vision for the potential of esports betting made extending the partnership an easy choice.”

From our 5 star review…

“In fact, we would argue that Bitcasino’s esports product is one of the best we have experienced. It’s simple, clear-cut, and offers a variety of products and options that other platforms are failing to deliver on.”
