PGL And Reveal Deal

PGL Major Copenhagen was a huge success, seeing an exceptional viewership, propelling it to the third-most watched event in Counter-Strike history. Following this, the organizer of the event, PGL, as well as, the number one B2B choice for esports betting, have signed a substantive multi-year agreement, extending their already existing partnership.

The new deal will cover the two entities’ joint operations from 2024 to 2026. According to a press release, this event signals a fresh epoch for PGL events, spearheaded by the upcoming Wallachia Dota 2 tournament, which will be held in May 2024.

This event will be one of at least eight Dota 2 headline tournaments set to be held in the following years. PGL and also promise to hold at least 11 Tier 1 Counter-Strike 2 events, each one featuring the elite of global teams, competing for prize pools of at least $1 million for each tournament.

He also praised PGL for the mastery of organizing the top three most-watched Counter-Strike and the two most-watched Dota 2 tournaments in history. One of these was the previously-mentioned PGL Major Copenhagen 2024, which saw over 1.8 million concurrent viewers, according to Esports Charts.
