  • This comes at a critical time for ITB as its CS2 team is restructuring

Into the Breach and Shuffle Reveal Joint Venture

Over the past couple of years, the worlds of esports and crypto gambling have been getting closer through various collaborations and ventures. Today, this link is growing stronger as UK-based esports organization Into the Breach has announced a large-scale partnership with Shuffle.com, a popular online crypto casino.

This means that Into the Breach’s Counter-Strike 2 and Dota 2 divisions will receive a substantial financial injection and deliver various tournaments, activations, and promotions. Additionally, the esports org will rebrand itself to ITB.Shuffle Esports to reflect the new partnership. It should be noted that this collaboration will only apply to Into The Breach’s CS2 and Dota divisions. In addition to these two games, the esports org also fields rosters in Halo and Rainbow Six: Siege. However, it is currently unknown if Shuffle.com and ITB will extend their partnership to cover these titles as well.

According to a press release, the new collaboration will aim to bring a new tournament ecosystem centered on supporting tier 2 and below teams. In addition, it’s hoped that the venture will produce a tier one roster, with up to 1 million USD in salary budget per year. Finally, betting fans will have more opportunities to partake in esports, with top-tier rates, instant withdrawals, and fan support.

Officials Talk About the Deal

The partnership is quite big for both organizations. For Shuffle.com this signifies a solid step into the world of esports that has the potential for further development. “As someone who grew up playing CS, I’m incredibly excited to be further involved in the space through Shuffle Esports,” commented Shiffle’s CEO Noah Dummett about the deal. “We’ll be investing heavily in the team and the broader community to build a team that reflects the same ethos we have at Shuffle.com – we’re here to win and to have a good time doing it.”

Meanwhile, for Into the Breach, the collaboration comes at a time of turmoil. The organization has not had a great time in competitive CS2 over the past months. Its team has dissolved with Bymes most recently leaving Into the Breach’s roster to become a free agent. However, hopes are now that the collaboration with Shuffle.com will revive the organization’s struggling branch and also expand the existing Dota 2 one.

Sam Cook, CEO and Founder of ITB, praised the online casino for being a trusted brand and reputable in the betting space and said that the collaboration will see both it and ITB reach new heights. “It’ll mean long-term support for high-caliber rosters that’ll compete at the very top of the esports mantle, alongside tournaments, fan engagement, and new community initiatives,” Cook further explained. “This is ITB bigger, better, and with far-reaching impact – merging Shuffle’s esport aspirations with our own infrastructure and talent. Skies the limit with this partnership –  ITB x Shuffle Esports.”

“In fact, we would argue that Bitcasino’s esports product is one of the best we have experienced. It’s simple, clear-cut, and offers a variety of products and options that other platforms are failing to deliver on.”
