In what is Revolut’s first foray into esports, the fintech company will be BLAST Premier Spring Final’s presenting partner.

Revolut and BLAST Announce Deal

BLAST Premier Spring Final is coming soon and the tournament organization and the tournament organizers are busy preparing for the London event. A part of this is the announcement of the sponsors and one of these is financial technology company Revolut. Revolut will be named the presenting sponsor of the event and the collaboration will feature multiple in-person and online activations planned for the duration of the Finals.

What this collaboration means is that Revolut will be featured on broadcasts and host dedicated segments in the event’s Official Finance and Payments Partner. Both BLAST and Revolut also announced there will be giveaways and on-site discounts for Revolut services. Meanwhile, the fintech company’s users will receive various benefits during the event, about which you can read here. Last, but not least, visitors to the OVO Arena, where the event will be held, will have the chance to interact with Revolut’s in-person activations.

Deborah Wajsbrot, Head of Growth, Strategic Partnerships and Sponsorships at Revolut, said the company is delighted to be able to unveil Revolut’s marketing partnership with BLAST. “BLAST is a world-class esports tournament and an iconic event for the gaming community. Just like Revolut, the gaming industry is at the forefront of innovation worldwide. This partnership is the beginning of our efforts to bring unique and unforgettable experiences to Revolut customers and gaming fans – not just at Wembley, but worldwide,” she explained.

It’s Revolut’s First Esports Partnership

As Wajsbrot explained, the collaboration with BLAST Premier is Revolut’s first foray into esports. The London-based company was founded in 2015 and it has more than 40 million users across 38 different countries. Revolut offers personal and business accounts as well as trading stocks cryptocurrencies and savings accounts. Considering its already prominent place in e-commerce, it’s no wonder that Revolut wants to expand into esports as well.

The collaboration also signifies BLAST’s growth as an organizer as well. Professionals from the company have also been increasingly involved in other aspects of esports as well. For example, recently ESIC created an advisory board with BLAST representatives. The board will provide ESIC higher-ups with information about various industry issues to help shape policies regarding spreading ethical practices in esports.

BLAST Premier: Spring Final 2024 will start on June 12 with eight teams competing for a total prize pool of $425,000.

From our 5 star review…

“In fact, we would argue that Bitcasino’s esports product is one of the best we have experienced. It’s simple, clear-cut, and offers a variety of products and options that other platforms are failing to deliver on.”
