Allied Esports Helps Trovo Prepare a Tournament Series with $250,000 in Prizes

in Industry
May 5, 2021

The live streaming platform Trovo has decided to celebrate its anniversary with a bang.

The Trovo Titans Series: An Ambitious Endeavor

To celebrate its first birthday, streaming platform Trovo will host a long tournament series together with Allied Esports. The series will be called Trovo Titans and will feature numerous esports events in various games and in various regions.

The 2021 Trovo Titans series is set to continue for 280 days. It will include over 100 tournaments in some of the most popular competitive video games. The events will feature three of the currently-dominant genres in esports: FPS, MOBA and Battle Royale and perhaps other genres as well. The events will cover the Americas and Europe regions.

Streaming platform Trovo is putting up $250,000 across Trovo Titans community events in VALORANT, CSGO & more.

A total prize pool of $250,000 has been secured for the series. There will be additional prizes in the form of Titan Points that can be earned through all kinds of engagement with the series and Trovo. There will be rewards for the audience as well.

The events will be streamed on Trovo live and will use community casters as commentators. The multi-day tournaments’ finals will be streamed on the Trovo Titans channel.

The first event of the series will be the Trovo Titans Birthday Bash that will celebrate the platform’s first anniversary. It will last through the month with several events in different games, starting with a $7500 League of Legends tournament on May 9.

The registrations are free for anyone interested in participating.

Trovo and Allied Esports Team Up Once Again

Trovo’s Senior Operations Manager Allen Chan spoke on the initiative:

“The best way to celebrate our first anniversary is to provide more opportunities to play, compete, win and share that experience with our community across the globe.”

Chan is sure that Trovo Titans’ variety will help all of the esports community stay engaged in the series.

On the other side of the bargain, Allied Esports’ CEO Jud Hannigan also shared his thoughts. He confirmed that his company is delighted to work with Trovo on such an endeavor.

“Gamers, streamers and viewers have thrived in creating a fun, inclusive community within the Trovo platform, and we believe the Trovo Titans program will help amplify this wave of excitement and growth.” Hannigan elaborated.

Trovo Titans are actually the second time Trovo and Allied Esports will be working together. Last December they held the Trovo Holiday Royale program. It included three $10,000 Battle Royale events. Over a thousand players across the Americas participated in this event.

The Trovo Titans, however, are a much bigger and more ambitious series. It will be exciting to follow along as the first event of the Birthday Bash begins on May 9.
