Abios Introduces Esports Solutions to LeoVegas Group’s Operators

in Industry
September 1, 2021
  • Esports betting is gathering more momentum, forcing mainstream gaming operators to adapt the necessary solutions for better engagement
  • As a result, LeoVegas Group now looks for powerful solutions such as Abios' Esports Widgets to integrate with its betting brands
  • Abios and LeoVegas focus on Dota 2, CS:GO and League of Legends as their main esports betting markets

Abios Esports is introducing its range of esports solutions to LeoVegas Group brands amid rapid growth for esports betting.

LeoVegas Group Brands to Feature Abios Esports Widgets

Abios is taking its esports expertise and bringing it to LeoVegas, a Swedish provider of sports betting markets, iGaming, and mobile gaming. Through the new esports Widgets available by Abios, LeoVegas will be able to continue and develop its operators' esports sections where it features numerous markets for popular competitive video games such as Dota 2, CS:GO, League of Legends, and others.

Thanks to Abios Esports Widgets, LeoVegas will be able to add even more value for end-customers in the matter. Abios key account manager Linus had this to add, commenting on the esports betting industry and the tie-up with LeoVegas:

“We are seeing a great demand and growth in esports betting. LeoVegas is offering a great player experience and we are proud to be able to help and leverage our products to enhance their offering further”

LeoVegas director of sports Christian Polsäter has acknowledged the tremendous potential of the widgets. “Esports is growing in popularity for us and we are very happy to improve our customer experience by providing engaging content and useful statistics,” Polsäter added.

Abios Esports Enhances the Esports Betting Experience

According to Abios, the key to esports betting success, and the successful implementation of any product related to it, is the use of accurate analytics tools. Abios draws a parallel with traditional sports and argues that esports fans are just as keen on finding out more about real-time stats as their counterparts who follow mainstream sports.

The widgets provide a lot of useful information, such as expected rosters, what heroes are picked and banned in League of Legends and Dota 2 for example, what maps are picked in CS:GO, and where one team historically performs better than another.

There are many little things that allow esports bettors to be better at what they do and Abios Widgets are definitely part of that. Through LeoVegas Group brands' bet.uk and bet21, esports betting can reach more people and they may benefit from Abios' powerful esports betting solutions.

Abios has a string of successful partnerships in esports. The company previously teamed up with esports organization Gambit to boost engagement with its fans.
