ESL and 1xBet Forge Global Betting Sponsorship
ESL has named 1xBet as its official global betting partner for the ESL Pro Tour CS: GO and ESL One Summer & Winter Dota 2 competitions. The partnership marks a continuation of the involvement of betting firms in competitive video gaming, with numerous entities such as Betway and Rivalry.gg striking similar deals with other esports organizations.
Thanks to this partnership, 1xBet's signage will be part of ESL's social media campaigns and the deal will remain in place through IEM Katowice 2022, covering the entire schedule for agreed-upon events in 2021.
This alliance is expected to enhance the overall experience for esports audiences, the press release states. ESL Director of Global Brand Partnerships Jasmin Haasbach has confirmed ESL's commitment to 1xBet for what she described as a global partnership with a leading sportsbook, focusing on improving the ESL Pro Tour CS: GO experience.
1xBet will help ESL with tailored, data-driven content throughout the league's various events covering CS: GO and Dota 2 and related broadcasts. Commenting on this partnership, 1xBet spokesperson Alex Sommers said that teaming up with ESL was one of the best ways to start 2021.
“The ESL Pro Tour circuit is the ultimate professional CS: GO competition, and we’re thrilled to become the first-ever global betting partner here,” Sommers added. Through this partnership, 1xBet remains confident in the sportsbook's chances of expanding its presence in the esports ecosystem, he added.
