- The game will receive a new Legend called Conduit
- Her abilities have already been leaked, although Respawn has yet to confirm them
- Season 19 will also arrive with new collection events and possibly new Heirlooms
Season 19 of Apex Legends will be released on October 31 and will feature a new character from the Philippines, as well as a ton of new cosmetics.
Respawn Reveals Conduit
Apex Legend’s next season is coming closer and developers Respawn Entertainment are putting out information to generate hype. It seems that when Season 19 arrives, it will be the biggest content update that 2023 has seen so far. The newest Legend also arrives with the She is called Conduit and was announced in a new “Stories from the Outlands” video featuring titans from Titanfall 2.
Conduit comes from the Philippines and she is the first playable legend from the country. Respawn has yet to reveal much more information about her, but members of the Apex Legends community have already managed to leak her abilities, which you can take a look of down below:
- Tactical: Arc Flash: Deals damage to Conduit’s shields to give targeted allies an overshield.
- Passive: Capacitance: Conduit’s base health is 50 health and 50 shield, instead of 100 health. Conduit gradually regenerates shield over time.
- Ultimate: Short Circuit: Conduit channels their shields into a giant arc ball that flies across the battlefield, stealing shields from enemies.
It should be noted that these are older leaks and Respawn has yet to confirm them, so take this information with a grain of salt. Conduit’s skills will be revealed in the coming days as Season 19, which will be released on October 31, comes closer. Interestingly, the Legend will arrive on the same day that VALORANT’s newest agent, Iso, is also released. Considering both games are rivals, it perhaps should be no surprise that their next big updates are scheduled on the same day.
More Things to Come in Season 19
Conduit is not the only big thing coming to Apex in the next big patch. Season 19 will also arrive with a new collection event featuring the singer Post Malone. Furthermore, it’s expected that Winter Express will return in Season 19 and if Respawn Entertainment’s past shop events are anything to go by, there will be sales on cosmetics around Black Friday.
Also, considering Mad Maggie, Ballistic, Vantage, Catalyst, and Newcastle are the only legends who do not have a Heirloom yet, it would not be surprising if we get to see these added in the next season. We might also expect an Heirloom recolor and a Mythic skin to be added as part of the Collection events.
Last, but not least, there have been rumors circulating that Apex Legends will receive a new map in the form of Angel City from Titanfall 2. Considering Titanfall 2 has had a resurgence in players recently, it would not be too surprising if Respawn decides to add a map from that game to Apex. That being said, the company has not revealed anything, so take these rumors with a pinch of salt.
More information will be revealed in the coming days before October 31, so make sure to stay tuned.
