Kim “t3xture” Na-ra becomes the fourth player to leave Global Esports’ roster in the past two months, with rumors about that and Cahya “Monyet” Nugraha will soon become the fifth.
T3xture Departs Global Esports
VALORANT Champions Tour 2024 will start sometime in March of next year, meaning organizations have ample time to prepare for the next competitive season. Despite that, many teams are already undergoing big changes, including Global Esports, which is all set for a major revamp in the coming months.
Recently, the organization was left with just three players on its active lineup after it announced that Kim “t3xture” Na-ra had left the team. Global Esports sends away the 24-year-old player with a video compilation of his best moments, wishing him the best of luck in his future endeavors.
This development comes after Global Esports had a disappointing run at VTC 2023, where the team won barely three of the dozen or so matches they had during the circuit. That being said, nobody expected such a development, having in mind that GE tried to create a world-class team with seven talented players, six of whom preferred the Duelist role.
Global Esports Is Left With Just Three Players Now
T3xture’s departure from the team is just the third one over the past few days. In July 2023, Michael “WRONSKI” Wronski, became the first player to leave Global Esports, announcing his retirement from competitive VALORANT. “This industry isn’t for me but I feel blessed to have been a part of it even just for a little while. Thank you again to everybody that has been with me,” said WRONSKI.
Global Esports finished the VCT 2023 with one player less, but the organization would soon see more of its members leave. On Monday, Jordan “AYRIN” He announced he would not be renewing his contract with Global Esports, marking the end of his time with the team. Instead, the 27-year-old player will be looking for new opportunities in North America and Europe for VCT 2024, searching for an in-game leader position.
Just a day later, a third player announced he would likely be leaving Global Esports. Park “Bazzi” Jun-ki revealed that he had been given permission to scout for new opportunities while still being in a contract with Global Esports. However, considering the 24-year-old player has stated he is open to playing any role, except Controller, it’s likely another organization would soon scoop him up.
Following these developments, Global Esportss active VALORANT roster is now down to just three players, Ganesh “SkRossi” Gangadhar, Abhirup “Lightningfast” Choudhury, and Cahya “Monyet” Nugraha. However, this will likely not stay the same for long, as there are rumors that Paper Rex wants to sign Monyet, with the talks of the transfer allegedly being almost completed.
But Global Esports has apparently also already set eyes upon signing new members, some saying that the organization is planning to acquire Gary “blaZek1ng” Dastin, who is currently an inactive member of BOOM Esports. Considering we are already well into the VCT off-season, a time where transfers and roster rebuilding are prominent, we might soon see Global Esports field a brand new lineup.
