GG.BET and Team Vitality Extend Partnership
Over the past few years, global betting brand GG.BET has been taking a more active role in the field of competitive Counter-Strike. The organization has been doing things such as hosting various events and sponsoring tournaments and teams. One of its most well-known partners is Team Vitality and the two organizations recently announced that that partnership will be extended for 2024.
They will work together to aid the development of the esports industry through various projects and build on what they have already achieved in the past. GG.BET and Vitality first signed a deal in 2022 and since then, they have worked on dozens of projects which have helped both grow. Some of their most popular works include the mobile blockchain app V.Hive, downloaded by 80,000 fans of Team Vitality. GG.BET and Vitality also hosted what is still the biggest show match in Counter-Strike history, Match of LeGGends.
GG.BET explained in a press release how the organization has supported the team throughout the years, helping them achieve many things such as winning the BLAST Paris Major 2023. The betting operator’s release also talked about the importance of the project that both organizations worked on last year. “In 2023, our projects engaged over 150 million fans on social media, and our work has inspired and motivated other market players to do more to support the esports industry,” the press release reads. “In 2024, we’re setting ourselves new goals, and we’ll be taking the strategic partnership between GG.BET and Team Vitality to new heights!”
What This Means for Vitality
With such a valuable partner by their side, Vitality are thrilled to have the contract extended into 2024. Nicolas Maurer, CEO of Team Vitality explained the importance of the deal, pointing out hor GG.BET’s role in the professional CS scene has grown over the years.
“From the very beginning of our cooperation, it was all about having fun and creating unmatched experiences for all the Counter-Strike fans. Like our meet & greet event in Rio, which gathered over 3.5 million reach, and the unforgettable show match against NAVI,” Maurer further explained.
The contract renewal is one of four sponsorships Vitality has recently re-signed. It will see GG.BET and the esports organization organize online projects, as well as large-scale offline events for supporters of Vitality and Counter-Strike as a whole.
“We’re looking forward to unveiling the exciting projects we’ll be putting in place over the next two years, to make the CS community shine and grow,” Maurer concluded.
