The leading esports media network GAMURS Group added Twinfinite, a popular brand in video game news and reviews, to its portfolio of gaming and entertainment brands.
Twinfinite Joins the GAMURS Group
GAMURS Group is an entertainment group focusing on engaging global entertainment and gaming communities. To accomplish its mission, it strives to partner up and acquire other entertainment organizations. This is why GAMURS recently acquired Twinfinite, which is one of the leading brands in video game news, reviews, features, and opinions on the market.
GAMURS had its sights set on Twinfinite because the latter has served over 100 million readers worldwide since its formation in 2011. By joining the company, the website will be able to tap into the over 50 million monthly global users GAMURS has across its platforms.
Chief executive officer and founder of GAMURS Riad Chikhani said that with this deal the company deepens its involvement in the gaming sphere. “As we continue to double down on gaming and esports publishing, the acquisition of Twinfinite continues our mission of making the GAMURS Group one of the fastest-growing digital publishers in the world.”
Meanwhile, the founder of Twinfinite Yamilia Avendano said she is happy that her company finally has a great opportunity for growth. “I’m excited for Twinfinite to finally have the backing it deserves to grow, and it only made sense that it be GAMURS.”
More about the Two Companies
Twinfinite was established by Yamilia Avendano in 2011, whit its main mission is to review, preview and cover video games. Over the years it has reached tens of millions of readers across platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, and Twitch. With over 1.2 billion page views since its formation, the website is a great prize for GAMURS Group, which would like to expand Twinifinite’s capabilities and reach, all while continuing its current operations.
This deal is yet another great score for GAMURS, which has seen massive growth since its creation in 2016. Its entertainment media portfolio includes 50 million users across its network of publishers. These include the likes of gaming news outlet Dot Esports, Pro Game Guides, which features comprehensive guides for many devices and genres, and many others. Over GAMURS has partnered with many high-level investors like Elysian Park, bringing these companies into the world of gaming.
