Free Fire’s crowning event enters its last stages, with the playins and finals scheduled for May 28 and May 30, respectively.
Garena’s Free Fire World Series
Garena’s Free Fire is hosting the Free Fire World Series 2021, which is the highest-valued tournament in the game’s ecosystem. As such, the game is expected to attract a fair bit of interest for the upcoming playins and finals on May 28, with $2 million on the line and the event entering its final stages in Singapore.
The FFWS will allow teams a chance to meet in the playins and then proceed to a head-to-head format for the finals. The event will field the nine best Free Fire teams from the world in the playins, who will then battle over six matches to make the cut in the finals.
Only three teams will qualify to the finals, though, and join another nine teams for another six-match marathon. Free Fire’s playins kicks off on Friday, May 28, with the world’s elite in the game already lined up and waiting for the launch.
Who’s Attending Free Fire World Series 2021 Playins?
There is a total of nine teams who will participate in the playins in a bid to secure a placement in the finals. There are only three slots available, however, so the teams will have to make sure that by the end of Match #6, they rank in the top three spots.
