  • FlyQuest announces its new roster composition for the next season
  • The team features members from all around the world
  • As well as nationality, the players are also varied in talent and experience

After a dreadful season, FlyQuest is making a new LCS with many international players.

FlyQuest’s New Roster Composition

With the end of the last League of Legends season, many teams are busy revamping their rosters for the next year. FlyQuest is the latest team to introduce its squad, with it being a promising one.

The team’s composition features players from all around the world. These are top laner Kumo, Argentinian jungler Josedeodo, French mid-laner Toucouille, Canadian AD carry Johnsun, and LCS veteran support aphromoo. FlyQuest, unfortunately, finished as a bottom-three team during both the 2021 LCS Spring and Summer Splits, however it is hoped that this new international roster will bring the team success in 2022.

FlyQuest is a relatively young team, originally reported on January 4, 2017, as Cloud9 Challenger’s new brand. A day later they were announced. Their first roster consisted of Cloud9 Tempest alums Balls, Hai, Altec, and LemonNation along with former Team Liquid Academy jungler Moon.

Like many teams, FlyQuest has changed its roster multiple times, but none so drastically as they did for the 2021 season, parting ways with their entire 2020 squad. The new roster’s first tournament together was the LCS 2021 Lock In, where they went 2-2 in the group stage, but was swept aside by Team Liquid in the knockout stage, leading to their poor performance this season.

About the Players

Only two players remain in the team from the last season – Kumo and Josedeodo. They were not able to find much success on a team that lacked enough firepower to keep up with some of the stronger rosters in the region. However, now they are joined by a true North American leader in the support position.

At 29 years of age, Aphromoo is the oldest active player in the league. With many years of experience, he should be a beacon of confidence for the younger players, since they know they are playing with a veteran. He will be substituting an old bottom lane partner, Johnsun, with whom he played on Team Dignitas in 2020.

The newest face of the team is Toucouille, who is making his debut as an import in NA. He is also the youngest player on the roster and has the least amount of time played at the highest level of his region. He has only played in the LFL with GamersOrigin and GameWard.

The new FlyQuest roster will debut when the LCS returns to action in January.
