FaZe Clan has brought in YouTuber and former football player Donald “Deestroying” De La Haye as their new star content creator.
FaZe Clan Is Expanding Its Entertainment Division
If you ask anyone in the gaming sphere from a few years ago what the name FaZe Clan meant, they would probably answer it’s the esports organization, most popular for their Call of Duty teams. And while CoD and other FPS rosters remain a staple of the organization, it has vastly branched out into other forms of entertainment over the past years. These include lifestyle vlogs, gaming highlights, and live streams.
To further expand its brand, the organization has often brought in high-profile members, including Lebron “FaZe Bronny” James Jr, Lil Yachty aka FaZe Boat. Most recently FaZe signed Snoop Dogg as a content creator.
However, these names are now being joined by yet another high-profile personality, namely popular YouTuber and former NCAA football player Donald “Deestroying” De La Haye.
FaZe Signs Deestroying
FaZe Clan’s new contract with De La Haye, who will now go as FaZe Deestroying, is no accident. The former NCAA player has shown a talent for content creation. Recently the organization made a mini-documentary following De La Haye’s journey from starting as a college athlete to becoming a content creator. Not long after that FaZe Clan announced they are bringing him to their growing list of YouTubers.
The YouTuber managed to amass a large following of over four million thanks to his personality and sports-centered content. He shared his excitement for the opportunity to work with FaZe, saying “I remember watching FaZe Clan when I was 12 years old, and now fast forward many years later, I am joining. It feels like a dream come true and it’s an honor to become a part of the FaZe family.”
