- FaZe Clans gets Ropz on the roster
- He is joining another MOUZ talent, karrigan
- Fans are expecting big things from Ropz with FaZe
Ropz may not have won the biggest titles with MOUZ, but he is now joining FaZe Clan to start fresh. In the meantime, the player’s ranking has gone one way – up.
Ropz Ready for Competitive Season with FaZe Clan
FaZe Clan has confirmed the signing of CS:GO talent Robin “ropz” Kool, following on a previous report shared by Dexerto. The player is coming from MOUZ where he came under the limelight as one of the most talented players in professional CS:GO.
His new home will allow him to continue elevating his knowledge and understanding of the game and will hopefully reinforce FaZe’s lineup, which is missing Olof ‘olofmeister’ Kajbjer. With olofmeister out of the picture, ropz will have to give it his all to shine as the well-oiled machinery that is FaZe.
Ropz made a name for himself as part of the FACEIT Pro League, which allows talented and high-level players to demonstrate what they are capable of. He became a member of MOUZ in 2017, giving him immediate access to some of the most prestigious events and he has been climbing up the rankings for years now.
Ropz, though, has not been able to single-handedly orchestrate a big title win for his team, despite his consistently good performance. Fans suggested that MOUZ may need another composition and that ropz would be better off pursuing his luck elsewhere.
Ropz is coming to a partially familiar setting where Finn “karrigan” Andersen is currently a member of. Karrigan led MOUZ through the organization’s best spell and he is now on the job at FaZe to steer the team to a victory. Karrigan did not miss out to share his satisfaction with being handed a talent of ropz’s caliber.
With this in mind FaZe Clan is currently ranking #11 in the global ranking system provided by HLTV. With FaZe Clan having big ambitions for the global CS:GO scene in 2022, ropz comes just on time to reinforce an already impressive crop of players.
