FaZe Clan and DraftKings have signed an agreement that will see the latter as the esports organization’s official betting partner.
FaZe and DraftKings Join Forces
The Los Angeles-based professional esports and entertainment organization FaZe Clan has inked a partnership agreement with the American daily fantasy sports contest and sports betting operator DraftKings. The deal will see DraftKings as FaZe’s official sports betting, iGaming, daily fantasy and free-to-play partner.
According to the reveal, FaZe and DraftKings will work together on various activations. Many of them will include promotional material featuring DraftKings’ branding and FaZe’s top content creators. FaZe will include DraftKings’ logo across their diverse content, including livestreams, tournaments and a planned podcast. The deal extends to the digital space as well, where the two partners will collaborate on various activations, including digital content, tournaments and merchandise.
Furthermore, FaZe Clan and DraftKings will join forces to make promotional gambling educational content that teaches people the fundamentals of making informed decisions and avoiding gambling harm.
Lastly, DraftKings will become the official sponsor of FaZe’s professional Counter-Strike: Global Offensive roster. This will provide the bookmaker with even more exposure as it will have its logo included on the team’s jerseys and social media.

FaZe Clan’s chief executive officer, Lee Trink, spoke on the deal. He explained that delivering content FaZe’s fans are passionate about is one of the main pillars of the organization.
“The DraftKings deal is a natural move for FaZe Clan as our members and fans are avid followers of traditional sports, and this gives us the opportunity to further propel our talent and brand into the mainstream,” Trink explained.
He added that both FaZe and DraftKings share an “important vision of being at the forefront of internet culture.” For Trink, this partnership is an important cultural crossover moment that will affect the future of both sports and entertainment.
DraftKings North America’s president and co-founder, Matt Kalish, described FaZe as a “juggernaut of internet engagement and culture.” He reveres FaZe and how it has grown to be one of the most influential esports and content organizations. Because of this, Kalish is excited by the engagement this new partnership will bring.
“The strong crossover between DraftKings customers and FaZe’s tens of millions of viewers and followers made this a natural alliance, and we hope to create excitement, competition, and community around sports and video games for adult audiences everywhere we operate,” Kalish said.
FaZe is on the way to become the first esports organization to surpass $1 billion worth. This will happen if the proposed merger between the esports org and B. Riley Principal 150 Merger Corp proceedsas planned.
