Imperial’s in-game leader recently talked on a podcast that he might be transferring to the North American region for next year’s competitive CS:GO season.

FalleN Talks About His Future Plans

Brazil has often produced great CS:GO talent and Imperial’s in-game leader Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo is one such talent. However, following Imperial’s elimination by Cloud9 from the IEM Rio Major in November, rumors started circulating that the 31-year-old player might be retiring from professional CS:GO.

It turns out that these rumors were indeed just that, as FalleN recently dismissed them in an episode on the Flow Podcast. The player was joined by Marcelo “chelo” Cespedes, Jhonatan “JOTA” Willian, and Rafael “zakk” Fernandes where they discussed a wide range of topics, one of which was FalleN’s future career plans. The player said he will continue playing, although there is a big chance he will be leaving the Brazilian region and joining the North American one. If this is the case, this will suit his current life more.

“Today, particularly, I think the following: if I’m going to play next year if that world exists, it’s going to be in a world where I live in the United States because of all these things in my life that were directed there,” FalleN said. He further explained that this is because his girlfriend will be working in the US and he himself would like to live in the country.

FalleN pointed out that he has already talked with his current team Imperial Esports about a potential transfer to the North American region. “We even talked about us [Imperial] going there. VINI has a desire to live there because his girlfriend has a father and mother there, so there is a world of moving,” the 31-year-old player said.

Although FalleN shared his plans for joining the North American region, it has to be noted that nothing is yet set in stone and there is still the possibility the player might retire in order to develop other aspects of his life. FalleN continues to maintain his travel routine while pursuing his professional career. Imperial most recently came back from Poland, where the team had a boot camp. But the team would not rest in Brazil for a long time as they are soon traveling to Malta or the ESL Pro League S17. The Brazilians are in group B of the competition and will debut against FURIA on March 1st.

“In fact, we would argue that Bitcasino’s esports product is one of the best we have experienced. It’s simple, clear-cut, and offers a variety of products and options that other platforms are failing to deliver on.”
