Gentlefolk Enters the CS:GO Scene
Arek “Vegi” Nawojski, Łukasz “mwlky” Pachucki, and Oskar “oskarish” Stenborowski, a trio of CS:GO players from Poland recently revealed their new and are looking for an organization to play under. The three are joined by fellow compatriot Oskar “oskarish” Stenborowski, as well as Swedish player Rasmus “kreaz” Johansson and Maceonian Zoran “xicoz” Markovski.
The main thing that unites the Polish players with their international new teammates is the fact that all come from organizations that have disbanded in recent months. Such is the case for the main Polish core of Gentlefolk, as the three were part of Anonymo, which disbanded last month after failing to qualify for the BLAST Paris Major Europe RMRs.
It should be noted that oskarish already has experience playing with some of the main trio of the new team as he was once the in-game leader of the now-defunct Anonymo. 2022’s later months were not kind to him, so by the year’s end, he did not renew his contract with the organization.
Meanwhile, the Swedish rifler kreaz comes to Gentlefolk boasting an average rating of 1.05 after his previous squad Finest dissolved. The team is rounded off by North Macedonian player xicoz, whose previous organization BLUEJAYS also dissolved a few months ago. During his time with the previous organization, xicoz managed a 1.03 score in all competitions and helped the team lift the trophy at IESF World Championship 2022.
The main trio that created the team stated that the squad’s main objective is to have a younger project to compete on the Polish scene as well as internationally. “By opening up to the European market, our prospects for the build expanded significantly,” they said in an official statement. “The training looked optimistic enough for everyone that we decided to play together despite the lack of support from any organization.”Gentlefolk are joined by two coaches, Adrian “imd” Pieper and Damian “xo” Gołembiewski, and are currently looking for interested organizations to sponsor them.
