- The new Call of Duty: Warzone update just dropped
- Dr Disrespect was initially hyped about the so-called Pacific update, but his opinion soon changed
- He said the update just feels boring
As an avid Call of Duty: Warzone player, Dr Disrespect has been a prominent critic of the highs and lows of the game. However, after the most recent update, Pacific, the doc seems less than happy.
The Pacific Update
With the arrival of Warzone’s new Pacific update, players of the game have been treated to much new content, including its new Caldera map. Dr Disrespect was one of the few streamers given a sneak peek of the update before it dropped, and previously claimed it is just the thing that the game needs. However, with the arrival of the new content, he seems to have changed his mind.
“I just want to uninstall the game,” he said. It seems the Doc is closer to quitting the Call of Duty flagship. He was excited about the new map at first but as the YouTuber continued playing his enthusiasm faded away. Just hours into his playtime he exclaimed “I had hopes… I don’t know, it’s boring.”
Doc Finds the Game Boring
The Doc had trouble getting invested in the game as nothing in it seemed to spark interest in him. “I’m already bored with this game,” he said. “I just don’t know what else to say champs. It’s bad. I don’t know. It just doesn’t, “ah!” and get me excited. If there are people getting giggly over this… god man, if they are, our expectations are just so low. I’m actually falling asleep playing this game.
He went on to explain that Warzone is supposed to be a blockbuster arcade-style game. He said a player should just be able to get into the game and do a few rounds without much effort because the game should be dynamic. Yet he does not feel anything like that.
“I’m getting really close to uninstalling this game and switching over to Battlefield 2042 where I know I’ll lose 98% of my audience. That’s how close I am to done.”
Dr Disrespect ended his stream on a low note, however, later on, he did share a few positives about the battle royal on Twitter.
After he had “calmed down” he pointed out that Caldera’s “unique” points of interest, “constant engagements,” and the fact there’s “always cash on hand” had seemed nice to him.
