The System Will Make Team Tracking Easier Than Ever
Valve has finally launched the long-awaited Dota Pro Circuit Team Profile system. With its features fans will be able to easily track their favorite teams’ performance and match history. The addition of such a system is welcome for everyone involved in the professional Dota 2 esports scene.
Valve tested the system before but is now launching its finalized version. It is a part of the Dota 2 game client and will have numerous features that track professional teams like a team’s schedule, match history and so on. It also features player stats for each team member, including their preferred heroes and kill/death/assist ratio.
The DPC Team Profile system will cover both the first and in the second division of the ongoing DPC season. For people who can’t watch matches live, there is a live option that can be turned off and provide a spoiler-free version that hides the teams’ most recent results.
Valve envisions the DPC Team Profile system as a crucial groundwork for the fan content system that is currently in the works. For enthusiastic fans, the fan content system will be bringing new exclusive features like Team Bundles that will let people invest in items and directly support their favorite Dota 2 teams.
