Kaka Makes Dota 2 History by Completing his 2000th Esports Game

in DOTA 2
July 30, 2021
  • Chinese Dota 2 player Hu “kaka” Liangzhi has become the tenth player with 2000 professional games behind his back
  • Kaka has a pretty decent win rate of 57% and will be present at The International 10
  • Five of the other people to reach this milestone will also participate in the event

Kaka has achieved the impressive milestone of 2000 professional games and will continue working hard in hopes of driving his team to victory at TI10.

Kaka Engraved His Name in Dota 2 History

Popular Chinese Dota 2 player Hu “kaka” Liangzhi will have his name written down in the history of the game as he just became the tenth player in the world to ever play 2000 professional competitive matches. The game that helped kaka reach the milestone was the very grand final of the i-League between his team, Invictus Gaming, and Team Aster.

Kaka is now the second person in China who has reached this feat with the first one being Xu “fy” Linsen.

Sadly, kaka’s team didn’t win the game but that doesn’t invalidate his achievement. Moreover, the loss during kaka’s game against Team Aster doesn’t mean he’s a bad player – on the contrary, kaka’s record boasts 1142 against 860 losses or a 57% win rate.

Invictus Gaming is no small name in Dota 2 esports. A few months ago the team won the Dota 2 Major in Singapore by defeating its competitors from Evil Geniuses. Kaka’s team will continue to prove itself on the upcoming The International 10 as Invictus Gaming managed to earn enough Dota Pro Circuit points to secure a spot. Until then esports enthusiasts who want to see kaka’s team play can follow the OGA Dota PIT Season 5: China which begins in eight days.

The 10 People Who Have Reached 2000 Games

In total 10 people have reached the impressive number of 2000 pro games played. These are the following:

  • Kuro “KuroKy” Salehi Takhasomi
  • Tal “Fly” Aizik
  • Xu “fy” Linsen
  • Johan “N0tail” Sundstein
  • Gustav “s4” Magnusson
  • Adrian “Fata” Trinks
  • Clement “Puppey” Ivanov
  • Jacky “EternaLEnVy” Mao
  • Roman “Resolut1on” Fomynok
  • Hu “kaka” Liangzhi

The next person to get this achievement is likely either Artsiom “fng” Barshak who is currently sitting on 1951 games or Adrian “Era” Kryeziu who has 1920 matches behind his back. There is a slight chance of Era surpassing eng as his team Chicken Fighters is playing in the Dota 2 Champions League.

Six of those dedicated 10 players will be seen on the long-awaited The International 10. These are Fly, fy, kaka, N0tail, Puppey, and s4.

The International 10 experienced some bumps concerning the organization. It was delayed by a year and now it had to change venues. Nevertheless, it will be the biggest Dota 2 tournament ever and will be made even more exciting by the presence of the six aforementioned legends.
