- Liquid is coming with an almost impeccable track record from Division I
- OG has managed to place 4th but has not secured a win against Liquid so far
- The odds seem to back Liquid and because of the good margins, we will be backing them as well
OG and Team Liquid are heading into the DPC WEU 2021/2022 Tour 1: Regional Finals fully prepared to fight to the last man in order to advance and secure the most DPC points possible. There are only two prizes on the line here – first for 250 DPC points and second for 130 DPC, with the third and fourth spots getting some consolation prizes in the form of cash.
What matters here, though is the DPC points and this is why OG and Team Liquid will be looking to secure a victory. The cash reward is also tempting. OG is posted as the underdog and we think this makes sense. Let’s take a look.

Team Liquid Betting Preview (February 11, 2022)
Team Liquid has had a strong run in the new Dota Pro season. The team topped Division I by driving home six series, losing a single one, and achieving a fairly decent overall 13 wins and six losses. Liquid is definitely looking like a heavy favorite for the upcoming Regional Finals and its first game against OG will be a defining one whether they can secure the top spot.
Liquid has already defeated both Secret and OG, two of the organization’s arch-nemesis who succumbed to it. While OG and Secret pried away a game win each, they couldn’t keep up with Liquid’s momentum demonstrated across a full month of play and not really slowing down until they met Nigma Galaxy and ended up losing the series in a 2:1 exchange.
Players in Liquid’s end have been playing with the team for a while now (pretty much since some of the old roster decided to break away and form a new team) and it has been paying off. Liquid did have an off-season in 2020/21, but we feel strongly that they are back on top once again.
With their team proving a well-oiled machine for dominance, we believe these Regional Finals will go to Liquid.
OG Betting Preview (February 11, 2022)
OG didn’t perform as well as hoped for in The International 10 and the team ended up in the 7-8th spot as a result. Regardless, OG did muster some of its magic back and finished 4th in Division I, sealing 80 DPC. They did lose to Liquid in Division I, though, and now will be their second shot at a victory.
Can they pull it off? The truth is that OG had to enact BIG changes to their roster, with the old guard retiring. Many admitted that they had no desire to win a third back-to-back The International (unlike us fans). In their present format, OG is good, but they have some rough edges that need polishing. This means that the team is far from peak form and this will most likely show on Friday. For this reason, we recommend:
