Zews Was Struck by a Heart Attack
Wilton “zews” Prado, an ex-professional Counter-Strike: Global Offensive coach and athlete, has been hospitalized because of a heart attack. Luckily, the CS:GO pro seem to be doing alright.
The disaster struck zews in Brazil. He was immediately rushed to one of the best hospitals in the country where doctors quickly intervened. According to zews himself, one of his arteries got almost completely obstructed. Thankfully, the doctors cleared it with two coronary angioplasty procedures, restoring the CS:GO pro’s blood flow.
Zews shared photos of his stay in the hospital and added that things seem to be under control and hopefully he will be okay. He was contacted by numerous former colleagues and fans who wished him a quick recovery. Big names in esports such as Vitality’s head coach Danny “zonic” Sørense, Team Liquid’s rifler Jonatrhan “EliGE” Jablonowski, as well as personalities such as Alexandre “Gaules” Borba and Jacob “Pimp” Winneche said that they hope zews’ health will recover.
Zews Had a Brilliant Career in Esports
Zews is one of the most esteemed people in CS:GO although he is now retired from playing professionally, he has won two CS:GO Majors (one as a part of Luminosity and one as a part of SK Gaming). As a coach, zews mentored the rosters of Luminosity Gaming, SK Gaming, Team Liquid, MIBR and Evil Geniuses.
After retiring from the professional scene, zews opted to created content and work in the NFT sector. However, he remains as one of the legends in CS:GO as many fans and players continue to praise him for his amazing coaching skills. As a coach of Team Liquid, zews helped the team dispute the rule of Astralis – the best team at the time.
It is good to hear that zews is doing fine despite the unfortunate happening. Hopefully, he will recover quickly and return to making the content he loves.
