- According to reports, Ninjas in Pyjamas is looking to purchase Brollan from Fnatic
- The former organization has allegedly put forward $680,000 for the acquisition
- Fnatic might be inclined to accept NiP’s offer as it opted to play with Peppe “Peppzor” Borak in an upcoming event
Ninjas in Pyjamas has offered Fnatic $680,000 to acquire their star rifler Brollan, according to reports.
NiP Seeks a Stronger Team
Ninjas in Pyjamas is allegedly seeking to add Ludvig “Brollan” Brolin to its Counter-Strike: Global Offensive team. According to an HLTV report, the Swedish organization has offered almost $680,000 for the acquisition.
Brollan is one of the youngest talents in professional CS:GO. No older than 19, the athlete has already proven as one of the best riflers out there. He is currently playing under Fnatic’s banner, another big name in the world of esports.
Ninjas in Pyjamas has been eyeing Brollan for a while thanks to his great performance in recent tournaments. As a part of Fnatic, the young star won the ESL Pro League Season 11 and DreamHack Masters Malmo 2019. NiP hopes to acquire the young talent before the PGL Major Antwerp 2022 qualifiers. The organization recently benched its AWP player, Owen “smooya” Butterfield, as it looks to hone its roster.
Fnatic Might Accept the Offer
Ninjas in Pyjamas has been performing unremarkably in 2022, failing to qualify for the BLAST Premier: Spring Finals. This underwhelming campaign comes soon after NiP’s top star, Nicolai “dev1ce” Reedtz, announced he will be taking a longer break to deal with a severe burnout. In the wake of this failure, the organization seeks to rebuild its roster and come back stronger than before.
It is interesting to see whether Fnatic will be willing to accept parting with one of its star players. Regardless of what the final decision will be, no announcement has been made by any of the organizations as of the time of this writing. Both sides will likely consider the deal for at least a little while longer.
There is reason to believe that Fnatic may be inclined to accept the offer as it will soon play in the qualifiers for the PGL Major Antwerp 2022 and needs to be in top shape, yet it has chosen to replace Brollan with the Fnatic Rising academy player Peppe “Peppzor” Borak for the event.
It is curious to follow how whether this deal will go live as it has the potential to help Ninjas in Pyjamas rise once again.
