  • Keith “NAF” Markovic will continue to play for Team Liquid
  • The CS:GO star will be part of the team’s roster at least until 2024
  • He is one of the few that remain after Team Liquid’s recent roster changes

Keith “NAF” Markovic, the Canadian CS:GO star announced he is extending his contract with Team Liquid until 2024.

NAF Renews His Contract

Keith Markovic, a.k.a. NAF recently announced he is going to renew his contract with Team Liquid. This news comes just a few days after Team Liquid announced they are rebuilding their CS:GO roster.

There were rumors that the new team composition will focus on Jonathan “EliGE” Jablonowski and that NAF will not be included in the organization’s future plans. However, NAF’s very respectable 1.15 rating at the BLAST Premier Fall Final put an end to that misconception.

The CS:GO star announced his contract renewal on his Twitter profile, saying he is proud of what he has achieved so far and is hopeful for the future.

Markovic’s Impressive Career

NAF’s professional career spans back more than three years. The 24-year-old CS:GO pro started his professional career back in 2018 when he was still playing for the Renegades. That stunt was short-lived, however, as in February of the same year he joined Team Liquid, becoming an integral part of their CS:GO roster.

NAF helped his team win many titles, which include IEM Sydney, DreamHack Masters Dallas, ESL Pro League season nine.

Now that NAF extended his contract, it is expected he will be playing alongside EliGE, shox, VINI, and nitr0. Their trainer is rumored to be adreN. Nitr0 is one of the potential roster’s newcomers, having spent the last year playing VALORANT. The other newcomer, VINI, announced he is leaving FURIA. It is rumored that Team Liquid is currently negotiating a deal with French player Richard “shox” Papillon.

Team Liquid celebrated NAF’s contract renewal with a short funny video posted on their Twitter account.

This is a good morale boost to the Team Liquid camp, as recently it took a beating when the team failed to make it into PGL Stockholm Major playoffs earlier this month. The fate of the other players of Team Liquid’s previous CS:GO roster, namely Stewie2K, FalleN, and Grim remains uncertain, as they are reportedly considering their options. How NAF will perform with the new team changes remains to be seen.
