The BLAST Premier Spring Final is just around the corner and the organizers have announced the seedings. The tournament will open with a bang as the top seed Gambit Esports will face off against Evil Geniuses.
The Climactic Spring Events is Around the Corner
One of the most awaited Counter-Strike: Global Offensive events, the BLAST Premier Spring Final is quickly approaching. It will serve as the culmination of BLAST’s spring season and will reward one team with the champion title, a $225,000 prize, and most importantly a secure spot in the even bigger BLAST Premier World Final later this year.
The tournament will be played will be a double-elimination, best-of-three format. The BLAST Premier Spring Final will also feature a total prize pool of $425,000. As a new change, the brand new map Ancient will be replacing Trail in the map pool.
The Seeding of BLAST Premier Spring Final is Revealed
As the tournament begins in about two weeks, on June 15, BLAST has stepped forward to announce the seedings and opening matches for the event.
Gambit Esports unsurprisingly stand out as the top seed. Gambit’s past exploits have cemented them as the current best in the CS:GO esports world. The team won several tournaments in recent times, including the EPIC Leagues CIS and the IEM Katowice. After Gambit are, as follows, Natus Vincere, G2 Esports, Ninjas in Pyjamas, Complexity Gaming, BIG, FaZe Clan and Evil Geniuses.
The BLAST Premier Spring Final will begin with a heated match between the top seed Gambit and its American competitors at Evil Geniuses. The match will be followed with a game between Complexity Gaming and Ninjas in Pyjamas.
The schedule of the first four matches is as follows:
- June 15, 8:30: Gambit vs. Evil Geniuses
- June 15, 11:30: Complexity Gaming vs. Ninjas in Pyjamas
- June 16, 5:30: G2 Esports vs. BIG
- June 16, 8:30: Natus Vincere vs. FaZe Clan
