Razer Collaborates with Tribe Gaming For a New Scholarship Program

in College Esports, Popular
August 20, 2021
  • Tribe Gaming has made a new deal with its old partner Razer
  • The two gaming bodies will bless ten lucky college esports enthusiasts with a $1,000 scholarship
  • Tribe Gaming hopes to help the development of the collegiate esports

Tribe Gaming and Razer will combine their efforts to release a $10,000 scholarship program for college students in the United States.

A Unique Opportunity for Several Lucky Gamers

Texas-based professional mobile gaming esports organization Tribe Gaming has entered a partnership with gaming peripherals company Razer. As a result of the deal, the two parties will be releasing a new $10,000 scholarship program. The announcement was made on Tribe Gaming’s official website on August 17.

All college students in the United States can apply for the program. The lucky esports-enthusiastic student will be approved and will receive a share of $1,000 of the total scholarship pool. Additionally, the students will be gifted with promotional Razer and Tribe Gaming-branded merchandise.

College students who like esports can fill the form on Tribe Gaming’s website where they will be asked to fill in some personal details, provide proof for college enrollment, and say more about how they fell in love with competitive video gaming. Despite Tribe Gaming being dedicated to mobile esports, the scholarship program applies to esports fans across all platforms.

A New Deal with an Old Partner

Tribe Gaming feels especially blessed to be able to collaborate with Razer once again. This March the two parties joined forces on a different account as Razer became the official gaming peripherals partner of the esports organization.

Tribe Gaming’s director of accounts, Michael Valore, spoke on the scholarship partnership and revealed it seems like “a natural fit”.

Valore explained that in 2021 Tribe Gaming has been doubling down on its development within the collegiate esports space. The director of accounts is happy to be able to provide this scholarship opportunity together with Razer as he feels that it is extremely important to nurture young talent and “cultivate the esports and gaming thought leaders of tomorrow”.

Tribe isn’t playing small when it comes to partners. The professional esports organization has different deals with other big names in the gaming world – those include the infamous gaming chatting platform Discord, the tech manufacturer Elgato and the bad company Incase.

The partnership between Tribe Gaming and Razer is an important step in the development of collegiate esports. Razer’s name is always good to hear as it has grown to be a highly reputable brand in the world of gaming and a much-coveted partner in the industry.
