- OG has been having a difficult time at the Dota 2 tournament
- They are currently facing elimination, having lost two games already

Sébastien “Ceb” Debs talked about his team’s performance after OG managed to stay alive in the tournament by eliminating nouns.
Ceb Explains OG’s Pre-match Strategy
BetBoom Dacha 2024 Dubai has already seen some very interesting matches, and with the event still having about a week more, we are in for more shows. One of the latest enthralling series between OG and nouns a couple of days ago, which ended in the latter defeating the former 2-0. This makes it the first win that the European squad has recorded during the tournament.
OG didn’t start off the tournament well, suffering consecutive defeats against Azure Ray and BetBoom Team. It is no surprise then that OG’s victory over nouns is much-needed. The latter squad now has to go home after suffering three defeats in Group B of the Dota 2 tournament.
Following the match, OG’s Sébastien “Ceb” Debs sat down with Dota 2 commentator Benjamin “Bkop” Kopilow and caster Dominik “Lacoste” Stipić to talk about the encounter and OG’s current standings in the event. Starting the interview with a lighthearted joke about not being handed the MVP, the 31-year-old player proceeded to analyze OG’s routine before a big series.
He talked about the fact that OG are not having their greatest moments at BetBoom Dacha 2024 Dubai and pointed out that because of that, the win against nouns was crucial. However, he also explained that the organization still needs to do a lot of catching up. “Not gonna lower our guard, I think we’re still catching up to the better teams of this tournament so still have a lot of work to do. So yeah, we definitely could use this win,” Ceb said.
When asked about who was the lead during pre-game discussions, Ceb explained that although it is him mainly, his teammates often talk as well. “They bring a lot of input, they have a lot of ideas. Everyone has kinda their own opinion. We have a system in OG where we want everyone to be heard and to also speak what they seek because I think it’s important,” Ceb explained. “We don’t really believe in this one-man ruling and everyone listening. Of course, sometimes it has to be but ideally, everyone gets their piece in and we build with that piece.”
OG is currently in the last standing of group B table and is facing the risk of elimination, so Ceb has all the right to say that his team is not yet out of the woods. The European roster is set to face off against Team Spirit later today.
