Warzone Pro Jukeyz Wakes up from Coma, Asks about Modern Warfare II

in Call of Duty
October 3, 2022
  • The streamer recently woke up from a medically induced coma
  • He is now in good health and is expected to be released from the hospital soon
  • His family says he asked pressing questions about MWII soon after waking up

In what could only be described as a meme come true, Warzone pro and streamer Jukeyz asks about Modern Warfare II soon after he woke up from a coma.

Jukeyz Wakes Up

Chances are we’ve all seen the memes about someone waking up from a coma and asking about a current pop culture topic. You know, the type when a doctor says “sir, you’ve just woken up from a ten-year coma” to which the patient replies with something like “oh boy, I can’t wait to play Half-Life 3”.

Well, what can only be described as a real-life version of this meme recently happened involving British Call of Duty Warzone pro and streamer Jukeyz. The 25-year-old player is a content creator for the London Royal Ravens Call of Duty League franchise. He’s been with the organization since August 2020 and he recently had a child with his partner Emily.

Unfortunately, Jukeyz recently suffered an asthma attack and had to be put into an induced coma. On September 27, his partner informed fans and followers on Twitter that the streamer’s asthma attack caused his heart to stop. He was put in a medically induced coma and responded well to the treatments.

Fortunately, the player woke up just after a few days and his family updated his fans that he is in good health. And allegedly some of the first things he asked about when he woke up was if CoD: Modern Warfare II had come out.

It’s not certain whether Jukeyz was just joking, or was actually confused about the passage of time because of the influence of the medication and the time he was out. However, his friends and family are happy that the content creator is in good spirits.

UPDATE:
Liam is now awake and doing well

He also asked if MW2 is out yet🤣 https://t.co/Ga4yW9kCUP

Perhaps Jukeyz was hoping he has slept longer and had “skipped” time until MWII had already been released. But unfortunately for him, the 25-year-old streamer will have to wait a few more weeks until the next iteration of his favorite franchise is released. The game is going out on October 28, so Jukeyz has some time to recover. However, he needs some more rest, so it will be a few more days before he is back to streaming.
