- TimTheTatman thinks Warzone 2’s gunplay is just way too fast
- He said players shouldn’t be killed in less time than they can react
- He used his previous exploits as an example of the fact the game needs to change
Prompted by seeing a video of another streamer being gunned down in less than a quarter of a second, TimTheTatman discussed that Warzone 2’s gunplay is broken.
The Streamer Has A Big Problem With Warzone 2
Call of Duty Warzone 2 has been out for several months now and it’s clear that the game’s reception is rather controversial. Although initially hyped about it, the community and many popular streamers, in particular, seem to have changed their opinions about the game.
One of the most famous examples of this is Dr Disrespect who changed his initially positive thoughts about the game, but it seems yet another big name in the streaming world is joining the Doc. Heading into the new year, TimTheTatman seems to be losing hope for Warzone 2 mainly due to one big problem – the broken gunplay. According to him, Warzone 2’s time to kill a player is very short.
The popular streamer came to this conclusion after watching a viral TikTok showing Aydan gunned down by a random player “disgustingly fast.” “It was almost like you blink and you die,” TimTheTatman said during his stream on Jan. 3. “He had a third of a second to try to react to him being shot.”
Just as the original poster of the clip said, TimTheTatman also compared the fast killing with the formerly overpowered DMR. Said weapon was considered to be very overpowered, enabling a user to kill another player in about half a second. However, the TikTok clip shows Aydan being killed in half that time, without even using weapons that are deemed overpowered. This shows that Warzone 2’s gunplay is way too fast, which is, according to TimTheTatman, the game’s biggest issue currently.
The problem is exasperated by the fact that it is not limited to just one single weapon like the overpowered DMR. Instead, many other weapons and weapon modifications can be used to achieve similar results. TimTheTatman himself has exploited Wa one 2’s broken gunplay before, most notably with his filthy one-shot kill shotgun loadout.
“There’s a one-shot shotgun in Warzone 2, and when I say one-shot, I mean full purple plates to an instant knock,” he said during a YouTube video on Dec. 12. “If you’re a shotgun lover like myself, you’re going to love this gun. Trust me!” Here’s the full loadout if you’re interested in trying it out:
Muzzle: Bryson Choke
- Tighter pellet spread +0.05in width
- Damage range +0.30in length
Barrel: 29.5″ Rifled Barrel
- Recoil steadiness -0.34lb weight
- Damage range +0.21in length
Laser: VLK LZR 7MW
Stock: Stockless Pistol Grip
Guard: Demo X50 Tactical Pump
Despite this, TimTheTatman still thinks the time- to kill is way too short. “Aydan shouldn’t be dying faster than the human brain can react,” he said. “Nobody should be dying faster than the DMR. Robots shouldn’t take longer for us to kill than another person.”
With so many other players agreeing with the streamer, let’s hope the developers take note and address the issue.
