Havok will step into MajorManiak’s shoes on Minnesota RØKKR’s main lineup. The latter athlete isn’t happy.
Havok to Replace MajorManiak
Colt “Havok” McLendon, a professional athlete in the Call of Duty League, will be joining Minnesota RØKKR’s main lineup. Meanwhile, the organization will move Michael “MajorManiak” Szymaniak to its bench to free up a spot for the new addition.
MajorManiak isn’t very happy about the state of affairs as this marks the second time he has been put on the organization’s bench. He went on to ramble about the unfair decision on Twitter, where he confirmed that he’s been benched and added that he feels disrespected and let down by those around him. The athlete is not sure what he will do now but said he will do his best to make the most out of the situation.
While Minnesota RØKKR’s decision to bench MajorManiak for a second time isn’t cool, the team can’t be blamed for wanting to add Havok to its roster. The latter athlete is considered to be the top Challengers player at the moment and has the potential to help the organization distinguish itself from its peers.
Havok joins Minnesota RØKKR from Texas Nation where he played alongside players such as Paul “Breszy” Breszynski, Jordon “General” General and Matthew “KiSMET” Tinsley and won several tournaments.
Havok’s Abilities Convinced the Team to Take Him In
Minnesota RØKKR performed below expectations and wanted to fine-tune its roster ahead of the third Call of Duty Major in May. The organization had unveiled its plans to trial numerous players from Challengers and the main CDL in order to pick the best of the best. After the organization tested out several players, it spent three days deciding which one will bring the most to the team.
Havok had quickly demonstrated great synergy with the rest of the Minnesota RØKKR players. Brian “Saintt” Baroska, Minnesota RØKKR’s head coach, later confirmed that the Challengers elite will be making his way into the team’s main roster.
Havok’s first game as a part of Minnesota RØKKR is scheduled for May 5 where the team will play against the Florida Mutineers.
