- Vanguard has a new hilarious glitch
- The game displays the attack dogs’ buts on the MVP screen
- Some have taken this as a metaphor for the game’s quality
Call of Duty: Vanguard has a new hilarious glitch that shows man’s best friend… from a very bizarre angle.
Vanguard’s New Funny Glitch
Call of Duty: Vanguard has had, to say it lightly, a mixed reception by players, attributed to the large numbers of hackers, frequent glitches, and the development studio often not giving players what they wanted.
Despite this, the game has a stable following. This strong community has often tried to look on the brighter side of the bad things Vanguard might present, and this is the case with a recent hilarious glitch.
Recently players have started sharing videos and screenshots of something Vanguard really wants to show them – dog butts. It might sound bizarre but the game has recently encountered a camera glitch that persistently shows players man’s best friend… from behind. The glitch occurs on the MVP screen.
The Glitch Takes the Internet by Storm
Naturally, the Internet went ablaze with videos and screenshots of the funny glitch. Videos shared on Reddit show players getting the MVP screen, but instead of seeing a human character, they see a rather intimate part of their four-legged companions.
The Internet’s creativity was just as active as its humor of a 12-year-old, and many players have come up with funny names for the glitch. These include, but are not limited to: doggy derrieres, puppy poopers, and hound hineys.
What is even funnier in the video linked above, is that this was not just a one-time occurrence on just one of the MVPs, but rather all of them were listed as the dog’s behind. And of course, all of this mayhem was accompanied by the dog’s loud barks, as if to add insult to injury.
The video even gained some popularity on Twitter, with some commenters simply writing “Ass”, while others responding to them with comments like “Just like 70% of the game”. While funny, it seems that for some players, the glitch has become somewhat of a metaphor for the game. Be it quality or the constant barrage of hackers, lackluster gameplay, according to some, or improper game balancing.
It is still unknown what causes the game to spazz out like this, but a common explanation is that it’s a consequence of someone calling in their Attack Dogs killstreak at the end of a match, and the camera gets confused. There is currently no information from Sledgehammer when the glitch will be fixed.
