  • BETER is set to increase the number of daily CS:GO matches to 1,400 events monthly as part of its EsportsBattle tournaments
  • The company is adding improved coverage options for the events and looking to engage with fans and players
  • Esports is a profitable vertical that esports wagering companies are keen to explore, bringing more valuable events and options for fans in the meantime

BETER has launched a new CS:GO coverage feature and a host of new formats to add value to the competitive ecosystem and offer more betting markets to those looking to place a wager on a game.

BETER Improves CS:GO Competitive and Viewership Format

Esports betting company BETER has revealed a string of improvements for its Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) competitive events that will add value to player and fan experiences. The company is improving on its existing tournament coverage, live data, odds and streaming.

According to BETER, its new coverage format will offer an “unparalleled gaming experience” that should appeal to participants but also boost viewership and engagement from esports aficionados who tune in to watch.

Ahead of the official launch of its new format, the company’s EsportsBattle tournaments will reach 1,400 monthly events, offering plenty of opportunity for contestants to participate and bettors to find a suitable market for themselves to be on. There are various formats to explore, including newly minted one-on-one daily matches running from 9:00 pm through 3:00 am UTC. There will be around 45 maps played every day with an average map taking 10 minutes to complete.

BETER CEO Alex Barkar has said that the company’s dedicated EsportsBattle events are designed to specifically appeal to players and spectators and that the resulting matches allow betting fans to place more dynamic wagers. More importantly, BETER is able to provide people with further worthwhile content that boosts betting operators’ revenue while, at the same time, bringing more value-added options for fans.

EsportsBattle Events Continue to Draw in Fans

“CS:GO is one of the most popular esports disciplines in the world. EsportsBattle is continually expanding its horizons by constantly testing new game formats to provide operators with relevant and fast content,” Barkar said commenting on the partnership.

BETER has been expanding steadily throughout the esports vertical and, apart from featuring its daily EsportsBattle tournaments, it has been running the Setka Cup. The company is also behind actionable live data and betting odds that allow operators to adapt to the highly dynamic world of competitive video gaming.

The dynamic growth of esports betting has prompted many companies to consolidate their footprints in the sector, including Luckbox. Speaking to the company’s new CEO last month, Thomas Rosander told us that there was little doubt the esports vertical could be profitable. BETER seems to be perfectly aware of that with the company now operating in the sector for close to four years.

“In fact, we would argue that Bitcasino’s esports product is one of the best we have experienced. It’s simple, clear-cut, and offers a variety of products and options that other platforms are failing to deliver on.”
