  • Season 3 of Warzone 2 launched on April 12 but it seems somewhat lackluster
  • Aydan said the season did not bring enough changes to the weapon meta
  • He still hopes that ranked play would be released soon and be the change he wants to see

Although popular Warzone streamer Aydan was initially quite positive about the game’s new season, he seems to have lost most of his hype after playing it for a couple of days.

Aydan Blasts Season 3

CoD: Warzone 2’s newest season has been out for a few days now, giving players ample time to test out what’s new to the game. However, like it’s almost normal for Warzone 2, players found things they do not like, despite the initial hype for what the new season promised to bring.

Like many players, Twitch streamer Aydan was also anticipating the game’s Season 3 patch. He was excited about the fact that it would bring many nerfs and buffs that looked like they would shake the meta. But after initially stating that the game was “going in the right direction”, the content creator seems to have changed his mind.

In a recent video, Aydan talked about what he thinks is wrong with the new season, and it can be boiled down to the fact he does not see many new things. First, he explained that although it made it seem like diving was going to be more fluid and faster, it “felt the exact same.” He later added that all the Warzone attachment changes “kind of felt weird” and not too different either. The lack of sufficient changes to the game’s meta also seems to be a major problem for the Twitch star.

On the last issue, he looked toward the MP5, Iso-Hemlock, and Vaznev, which are all still considered to be the go-to weapons. “We have the same meta after months and it looks like we’re going to be stuck with it again. Not much has changed,” Aydan said.

But not all hope is lost, as there is one thing in Aydan’s view that could redeem Warzone 2’s new season – ranked play. This is what matters most to him and other competitive gamers. The only issue is that it has not been released yet. It was supposed to be released on April 12, with the start of Season 3, but it seems the devs are still ironing out some issues. Because of this, Aydan thinks ranked play could release halfway through.

Until then, the streamer will continue playing the game, albeit he gave the new season a score of 4.1/10, a measly improvement over the 4 out of 10 he assigned to it before it was released.

“In fact, we would argue that Bitcasino’s esports product is one of the best we have experienced. It’s simple, clear-cut, and offers a variety of products and options that other platforms are failing to deliver on.”
