The Pacific Update Brings New a New Warzone Battle Royale Map and More

Activision Blizzard has released the content road map for Call of Duty: Warzone and Call of Duty: Vanguard, providing fans with a peek at what’s to come in the Pacific update. Players will get tons of new content in the form of maps, events, modes, vehicles and gear.

Warzone, Call of Duty’s free-to-play franchise entry, will be getting a big batch of content. It will most notably feature a brand new battle royale map with a tropical atmosphere by the name Caldera. Additionally, once the Pacific update rolls up, Warzone players will be able to access all of the weapons from the newest Call of Duty title, Vanguard.

Fans can also look forward to new vehicles, contracts, new Gulag experience, events and even game modes.

Vanguard to Receive New Weapons, Game Modes, Maps and a Battle Pass

Vanguard, the newest entry to the franchise, on the other hand, will receive a plethora of new content. That will include a wholly new game mode called Control, as well as two new maps, Paradise and Radar, both having the same tropical atmosphere to match the Pacific vibe.

New weapons will be there for the grabs, including Cooper carbine, Gorenko anti-tank rifle, katana, sawtooth and welgun. The weapons will be released as the game season progresses.

Fans will also be able to purchase customization bundles from the in-game store in order to fully personalize their game experience.

A brand new battle pass with 100 new tiers for players to grind through will be making its way into the game. The pass will include over 30 items, skins and a new operator.

Lastly, Vanguard’s Zombies mode will also get some love as the developers will be adding a myriad of new things, including new weapons, challenges, objectives and Covenants. Blizzard’s update promises that more content will be released throughout the season.

Speaking of which, season one begins tomorrow, December 8.
