100 Thieves May Hire Ddk as a General Manager
The influential esports organization 100 Thieves is reportedly looking to hire someone experienced with esports in the position of its VALORANT team’s general manager. Sources told Dot Esports that Daniel “ddk” Kapadia is a likely pick.
Ddk fits the criteria of an experienced individual and has previously worked as a commentator. He used to be one of the most popular casters thanks to his understanding of the game, paired with his talent for engaging the audience.
Before Riot Games released its famous first-person shooter, ddk worked as a Counter-Strike: Global Offensive commentator. However, once VALORANT hit the market, he became one of the many esports personalities to leave CS:GO and join a fresher esports scene.
Ddk Recently Quit Casting for the VCT
Despite his successes as a caster, Ddk got into some kind of disagreement with Riot Games and has decided to not cast anymore. He confirmed that he will not be a part of the commentary team at the VALORANT Champions Tour Masters event in Reykjavík, Iceland.
Ddk said that he will not be abandoning casting right away and will continue covering the next Game Changers event until its end. Still, his decision to back down on casting makes it a perfect time for him to explore new horizons. Ddk will be a great fit for 100 Thieves thanks to his intimate knowledge of the esports scene and competitive first-person shooter titles.
100 Thieves’ 2022 VALORANT lineup has been reaping rather disappointing results in the past few months. The organization participated in North America’s VCT Stage 1 Challengers tournament but scored only a single win against four losses, effectively losing its chance to play at the playoffs.
100 Thieves’ players will have a chance to redeem themselves in the upcoming VCT Challengers Stage 2. The event begins on May 5, so fans should stay tuned.
